Manor seeks consent for Salford student scheme

Adelphi Street Salford

Manor Property Group has submitted a planning application for a 1,091-bedroom student housing scheme in Salford, Greater Manchester.

The riverside apartment scheme is located on Adelphi Street, within the Salford Central regeneration area, and features office space, a café and a gym.

The project is designed by architect careyjones chapmantolcher. A series of interlinked buildings, constructed in a “stepped” design, will range between six and eight storeys, with a single tower of 18 storeys at the northern end of the site.

Manor Property Group’s Bill Addy said: “Manor will be regenerating an area of Salford that has seen many years of decline and we are looking forward to working with the planners to enable start on site later this summer in order to meet growing demand for occupancy from September 2013.”
