Yorkshire-based Manor Property Group has submitted plans for one of the largest independent student living projects in Manchester.
The proposed £60m scheme – Manor Wharf – will comprise 1,091 bedrooms in Adelphi Street in Salford.
The Careyjones Chapmantolcher-designed project will comprise a series of linked buildings ranging in height from six to eight storeys, with an 18-storey tower at the northern end.
Subject to consent, work is expected to begin later this year and complete in 2013. The Planning Studio is advising.
