Manse Opus cooks on gas with 90,000 sq ft letting

Gas distribution business owner Cadent has signed for 90,000 sq ft at Manse Opus’s office scheme near Coventry.

The prelet will see Cadent Gas take occupation of a purpose-built office building on the Prospero Ansty business park from early 2022 on a 25-year lease with an initial rent of approximately £2.12m per annum.

Cadent will relocate operations from Hinckley, Coventry and Leicester and the move will allow more flexible working arrangements.

Prospero Antsy is a 200-acre business park offering 2.3m sq ft of manufacturing, research and office accommodation.

The site is being developed by Manse Opus, funded by the Aviva Investor-managed Lime Property Fund.

Steve Hurrell, chief financial officer at Cadent, said: “Allowing our teams to work together more effectively in a modern and environmentally sustainable facility is important as we develop the Cadent brand.”

Manse Opus was represented by JLL in the letting and investment sale. Avison Young acted on behalf of Cadent. Savills advised Aviva Investors.
