Mansfield Brewery puts 19 pub portfolio on the market

Mansfield Brewery has just put a 19 pub portfolio on the market for a total price of around £3.5m.

The pubs are:

  • Anchor Inn, Southcoats Lane, Hull, East Yorkshire – £150,000
  • Biarritz, George Street, Hull, East Yorkshire – £500,000
  • Broadhighway, Great North Road, Woddlands, Doncaster, South Yorkshire – £300,000
  • Charles Dickens, 57 Middle Street North, Driffield, East Yorkshire – £130,000
  • Craven Park, 174A Holderness Road, Hull, East Yorkshire – £225,000
  • Dog & Duck, Cheviot Avenue, Goole, East Yorkshire – best offers
  • Empress Club. 833 Hessle Road, Hull, East Yorkshire – £85,000
  • Engineers Arms, Bridlington Avenue, Hull, East Yorkshire – £100,000
  • Four Horseshoes, King Street, Alfreton, Derbyshire – £65,000
  • Gardeners Rest, 105 Neepsend Lane, Sheffield, South Yorkshire – £55,000
  • Goat & Compass, 107 Falkland Road, Hull, East Yorkshire – £160,000
  • Halfway, 490 Hessle Road, Hull, East Yorkshire – £395,000

The pub operator has a total portfolio of around 500 outlets and is looking to expand southwards. Mansfield already has a strong presence in Hull and east Yorkshire.

Christie & Co’s Jon Patrick, agent for Mansfield, said he expected inquiries for the portfolio from individual buyers and small multiple pub companies.
