Mapeley sell off begins

The first properties from the collapsed Mapeley portfolio have been sold.

The special servicer to Mapeley Properties and Mapeley Acquisition Holdings said that it had “begun the process of implementing its strategy to maximise recoveries for noteholders”.

Following the appointment of receivers, two properties – Unit 10, Cefn Coed House in Cardiff, and Aragon Court in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire – were brought to market.

Coed House was sold for £2.6m to an unnamed buyer, while Aragon Court was sold to the government occupier for £3m.
