The administrator to Maplin said it had been unable to find a buyer for the failed electrical goods business but remained “open to interest” as it announced further redundancies.
In a blow to staff hoping for a rescue deal, PWC said it would have to make a further 66 redundancies at Maplin’s head offices in London and Rotherham.
