MAPP bolsters science parks team with two hires

Property manager MAPP has recruited two campus directors for its business and science parks’ management site team.

Kerry Wilson will oversee Kent Science Park, which comprises 47 buildings with varied uses including labs, pharmaceutical manufacturing bases, greenhouses, co-working areas and offices. She will cater for and develop its specialised occupier community.

Wilson was previously operations manager at JSRE. Her experience involves running assets in central London, including a seven-year stint at 30 St Mary Axe, EC3, also known as the Gherkin.

William Turley will focus on Edinburgh Technopole, which is formed of six buildings within 126 acres of countryside. His previous position was not disclosed.

The property manager said Turley’s experience in the healthcare and education sectors includes a selection of bio-science ventures and a University of Edinburgh facility.

Nigel Mapp, chief executive of MAPP, said: “These new hires are a reflection of the continued period of growth for the business, which now employs over 550 people. Kerry and William bring the right skills and experience to deliver MAPP’s unique approach to property management, focusing around community building and sustainability.”
