Maritime freight consultancy Veson Nautical has signed a lease for a 13,500 sq ft office at Native Land’s £2.5bn Bankside Yards development.
The company will occupy the 12th floor of the Arbor building, based in the 1.4m sq ft mixed-use regeneration project on the south bank of the River Thames, SE1.
Explaining the choice, Sean Bridgeo, chief financial officer of Veson Nautical, pointed to the ESG focus, location and quality of the office.
Bridgeo said: “This new space not only allows us to accommodate our growing team but also places us in a dynamic and culturally rich area of London.”
The 222,000 sq ft Arbor building, which is now 75% let, is powered by electricity from renewable sources and will be part of an energy sharing network to allow the site to achieve net-zero carbon in operation.
Other tenants in the building include multinational tech and consultancy company Wipro, law firms Lewis Silkin and Winckworth Sherwood, and global sports betting company Flutter Entertainment.
Ingleby Trice and Knight Frank are leasing agents for Arbor. SHB Real Estate acted for Veson Nautical.
