British Land was among the top real estate risers on the FTSE 100 today, as the UK’s leading index ended the day in the green.
Shares in BL climbed by 2.7% to 441.2p, producing one of the sharpest rises seen in the index, which stood at 6,654 points after increasing by 0.2%.
There were also notable rises from big property players in the FTSE 250. Shaftesbury was up by 5.7% at 542p, while Hammerson enjoyed a 5.1% increase to end the session at 20.3p.
At closing, the FTSE 250 rose by 0.5% to stand at 20,448 points.
