British Land was among the biggest real estate fallers on the London Stock Exchange today, as the FTSE 100 dipped further into the red.
BL ended the day down by 3.6%, at 488.9p. FTSE 100 peers Landsec and SEGRO were also down, with the former falling by 2.3% at 670.2p and the latter down by 0.5% at 1,089.5p.
McKay Securities posted the biggest share price decline out of all REITs on the stock exchange during the session, down 5.2% at 218p.
Those defying the downward trend included Supermarket Income REIT, which was the top real estate riser of the day after climbing by 4.7% at 123.5p.
The FTSE 100 closed down 1.9% at 7,017 points, while the FTSE 250 fell by 0.9% at 22,324.
