Market wrap: Bumps for BL and Landsec

Landsec and British Land were among the top risers in the FTSE 100 today. Shares in Landsec closed up by about 2.5% at 995.8p, while rival BL gained 2.16% to reach 587.8p.

Segro, which published full-year results showing a 10% rise in adjusted profit, gained 1.5% at 935p.

Shares in intu shed a further 5.3%, falling to a fresh low of 12.03p and giving the company a market cap of £172m. A week ago, before hopes of Link REIT’s possible involvement in an equity issues were raised and then dashed, they stood at 13.4p.

The FTSE 100 closed down 42.9 points at 7,409, with the FTSE 250 up 116 at 21,790.
