There were falls across the London market today, with the FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and FTSE All-Share all finishing the day down roughly 3%.
In a sea of red, the most notable property-related gain was seen by Starwood European Real Estate Finance, shares in which closed at 94.2p – a 2.8% gain.
Most big REITs saw share price falls, albeit smaller than their indices. At Landsec, which today confirmed that its directors will take a 20% pay cut in order to donate to a support fund during the coronavirus crisis, shares finished the session at 625.8p, down 1.1%.
British Land was down about 0.8% at 390.5p, while SEGRO closed at 805p, 1.2% lower.
