Real estate was largely missing from the big moves across the FTSE 350 ahead of the long weekend.
Hammerson was the only property name to make it onto the stock exchange’s lists of the top eight risers and fallers, up by 2.6% to 35.83p.
The day’s biggest real estate rise came from AIM-listed investor Panther Securities, which rose by 7.8% to 275p.
At the other end of the list was Henry Boot, shares in which also ended the day at 275p – a drop of 3.2%.
The FTSE 100 closed at 7,148, up 0.3%, while the FTSE 250 was up 0.5% at 24,059.
