Helical was among real estate’s biggest listed risers on Friday, up by almost 4% to 445p a share after confirming new of its latest deal.
The company said this morning that it has agreed to buy 100 New Bridge Street, EC4, for £160m. It plans to refurbish the office when law firm Baker McKenzie’s lease ends in 2023. The deal will need shareholder approval.
The day’s biggest gain came from Capital & Regional, up by 4.2% at 62p. Other risers included CapCo, Workspace Group and Industrials REIT – formerly Stenprop – which hit a fresh high of 204p.
The FTSE 100 ended the day at 7,269, edging up just 0.1%, while the FTSE 250 finished at 22,780, up 0.6%.
