Irish property investor Hibernia REIT posted one of the most notable stock increases in the real estate sector today, its shares getting a lift of more than 6% to reach 111.9p.
But there were more real estate companies whose share price movements were in the red, led by estate agency group Foxtons, which dropped by 4.7% to 54.3p, a low of more than five months.
In the index of London’s largest 100 companies, Landsec was among the heaviest fallers, down by 1.6% to 687.6p.
The FTSE 100 closed flat at 7,124 points, while the FTSE 250 nudged up 0.1% to 22,926 points.
