The UK’s largest listed housebuilders took a fall today as the prospect of a ‘no deal’ Brexit edged closer.
FTSE 100 Persimmon dived 6.37% to 2,514p, following similar losses earlier in the week.
Barratt Developments was down 5.1% to 598.6p, and Taylor Wimpey fell 4.22% to 153.3p.
In the FTSE 250, Crest Nicholson plummeted 6.32% to 290.6p, Bellway fell 5.57% to 2,762p, and Countryside was down 4.735 ending at 410.6p.
Overall the FTSE 100 inched up 0.54% to 6,600, with the FTSE 250 down 0.64% at 19,756.
