Intu Properties and Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust were among the biggest gainers in London trading today.
Intu’s shares rose by almost 15% to 6.9p, the fourth-highest rise in the trading session in the FTSE All-Share. Schroders’ trust gained about 11% at 39.3p, the day’s sixth-highest increase.
At housebuilder Barratt, which today said its directors would take a 20% pay cut to conserve cash during the Covid-19 crisis, shares closed up more than 6% at 460.8p.
The FTSE 100 ended the session up half a percentage point, while the FTSE 250 gained slightly less at 0.4%.
