Intu Properties gained in London today. Its shares closed up 2.3% at 12.3p after a rocky period last week, during scrutiny of likely backers of an expected equity raise that could be announced alongside the company’s upcoming results.
Kier Group was the top property-related riser, closing up more than 6% at 149.5p. Your Move owner LSL Property Services was also among the top risers, up 5.4% at 340p.
The company said in its trading update last month that its full year profits are likely to be ahead of expectations, despite a 4% drop in revenues. The results will be published on 10 March.
Meanwhile Hammerson shed 2.1% to reach 234.9p. British Land, Landsec and SEGRO also saw their shares fall.
The FTSE 100 closed up 24 points at 7,433, while the FTSE 250 gained 36 at 21,826.
