Market wrap: IWG among FTSE 350’s top risers

IWG was among the FTSE 350’s biggest risers on Friday.

The flexible office company posted a notable gain earlier in the week after weekend reports of a possible break-up plan.  On Friday its shares were up by 4.8% at 307.1p, their highest since mid-August.

Tritax EuroBox marked its first day of inclusion in the FTSE 250 index with a slight drop, down by 1.7% to €1.29.

Pub group JD Wetherspoon, which said in preliminary results this morning that it has opened five pubs during the past year and sold or closed 16, leaving its portfolio at 861, was up by 2.5% at 1,069p.

The FTSE 100 ended the week at 7,027, down by 0.8% over the day, while the FTSE 250 stood at 22,975, down 0.2%.
