Some of the UK’s biggest landlords made the list of today’s sharpest fallers on the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 indices, as a second national lockdown saw all non-essential shops close.
In the FTSE 100, British Land dropped 3.5% to 372.4p, while Land Securities ended down 2.33% on 533.5p.
In the FTSE 250, Shaftesbury fell by 3.3% to 444p and Capital & Counties was down by the same degree to 100.7p.
The FTSE 100 edged up 0.07% to 5,910 points. The FTSE 250 ended down 0.06% down on 17,917.
