SEGRO and LondonMetric Property were the real estate highlights in the final trading session of the week.
SEGRO ended the day with its stock at 1,402p, its highest since early 2007, a near-2.8% rise making it one of the biggest gainers in the FTSE 100.
LondonMetric, meanwhile, which yesterday completed a fresh equity raise to help fund its next acquisitions, hit a new high of 275.4p, up by 2.8% and one of the FTSE 250’s best performances.
The day’s biggest real estate fall came from Caledonian Trust, which dropped by almost 7% to 135p.
The FTSE 100 closed at 7,223, down 0.5%. The FTSE 250 finished the session at 23,492, down 0.4%.
