Big Yellow Group and Safestore Holdings were the top real estate gainers on the stock exchange today.
Big Yellow was up by nearly 3% at 1,490p, while Safestore rose by 1.8%to 1,206p.
Housebuilder Bellway enjoyed a 1.6% boost, ending the day at 3,405p after doubling its profit during the past year.
Schroder European REIT was among the property companies posting the biggest declines, down 4.1% at 104p.
Other fallers included Capital & Regional, down 2.2% at 57.3p, and Urban Logistics REIT, down 1% at 169p.
The FTSE 100 finished the session up 0.2% at 7,217, while the FTSE 250 closed up 0.4% at 23,054.
