Hammerson, Workspace and Urban&Civic saw share price hikes of more the 4.5% as England headed for its second lockdown of 2020 and the world waited on the US election result.
Hammerson’s share price rose by 5.94% to 18.3p, while Workspace gained by 4.94% to 648.5p and Urban&Civic’s share price increased by 4.9% to 214p.
Among today’s fallers, Countrywide saw its share price drop by 6.84% to 141p.
NewRiver REIT also posted a decline of 3.54% to 60p as the public hit the shops and pubs for a final time before lockdown on 5 November.
Both the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 ended the day up, by 1.67% to 5,883 points and 1.74% to 17,796 points respectively.
