Property Franchise Group topped the real estate risers in London on Friday, its shares hitting a new all-time high.
The estate agency group gained 5.7% to finish the week at 280p. Also on the up were AIM-listed housebuilder Springfield Properties (rising 4.7% to a record high of 167.5p after an upbeat trading statement earlier in the week); Helical (a 4.3% lift to 450p); and Stenprop (also hitting an all-time high, up 3.9% to 158.5p).
The day’s sharpest fall across real estate stocks was Capital & Regional, which ended the day at 79.4p, down by 4.3%.
The FTSE 100 and 250 finished the session largely flat, edging up 0.07% and 0.1% respectively at 7,069 and 22,832.
