Maro wins approval for industrial hub in south Manchester

In the North West, Maro Developments has won outline consent for a £30m manufacturing and distribution hub at Carrington First, south Manchester.

Maro, the property company controlled by Matalan boss John Hargreaves, will develop the 44-acre brownfield site in a joint venture with Merlin International Properties.

Plans include 600,000 sq ft of B2 and B8 space on the former Carrington power
station site, off junction 8 of the M60 in Trafford.

NAI Fuller Peiser is the letting agent for the Carrington hub.
