Marsden takes on EMEA role at JLL

Philip Marsden is to become a managing director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s EMEA corporate finance team.

The former King Sturge partner will look after business development across EMEA alongside Andreas Quint.

Marsden, who will remain lead director for the UK industrial and logistics group and a member of JLL’s UK executive, held a similar dual role at King Sturge.

A statement from JLL said he “was instrumental in the creation of several notable funds and investment vehicles for a variety of clients in recent years, including Scottish Widows, Aviva and Legal & General”.

Quint said: “The increased globalisation and sophistication of financial markets creates a real opportunity for us to significantly develop what is already an excellent business model for our corporate finance group, further expanding its international reach.

“Notwithstanding the challenging economic environment, our clients continue to seek the best specialist advice and solutions.”
