The operator of Hackney’s Martello Hall, Albion & East, is opening a new restaurant in Brixton, SW2.
It has agreed a deal for 250 Ferndale Road, in The Department Store – a development by Squire & Partners architects.
It is taking 4,579 sq ft in the 1906 built block which will open in September and will be split over basement and ground floor level with an area for outdoor seating.
Nick Weir, joint managing partner at Shelley Sandzer, said: “It’s great to see a budding operator like Albion & East continue to grow and in such a brilliant location. We know this tenant will provide a space that is perfect for employees and locals, feeding into the community and truly putting Brixton on the map. The area is seeing considerable regeneration and we are pleased to have been involved in another deal in Brixton.”
