Martin’s Properties has completed a £25.9m sale of its Tech City portfolio, as tipped by Estates Gazette.

The portfolio – comprising 130 City Road, 140 Old Street and 100 Bunhill Row, all EC1 – has been sold to DTZ Investment.

As reported by Estates Gazette, the company went under offer to buy the 42,683 sq ft asset last month.

The three-building portfolio was put up for sale in September through Hatton Real Estate and Springer Nicholas with a guide price of £23.5m, reflecting a 5.44% yield.

Tom Martin, managing director, Martin’s Properties, said: “We acquired this portfolio when interest in the Tech City area was gaining momentum and the sale price reflects our expertise at adding value to our assets and the huge demand for office space in EC1.”

Lewis & Partners acted for DTZ Investors.
