Maslow Capital funds Manchester BTR

Maslow Capital has provided a £123m development facility to Renaker’s Crown Street scheme in Manchester city centre.

The £230m residential development comprises two towers of 52 and 21 storeys with 664 build-to-rent apartments.

It includes a residents lounge, a rooftop garden, co-working space and a swimming pool on the 44th floor.

Maslow Capital chief executive and co-founder Ellis Sher said: “Despite the political and economic uncertainty, all the parties involved have done what they said they would do and remain focused on the delivery of this important project.

“It’s easy to lose sight of the housing shortages that many parts of the country face with all the Brexit noise around us. It’s important to Maslow that we support high-quality developers throughout the cycle, ignoring some of the near-term volatility and focus on the long-term fundamentals.”

Crown Street, also dubbed Elizabeth Tower, is Renaker’s second development in the Great Jackson Street regeneration. It is located in the Deansgate area of Manchester and is due for completion in the summer of 2022.
