New York-based hotel group Masterworks Development Corporation’s plan for a 45-storey, mixed‑use tower in
Hackney has been given the go-ahead.
The KPF‑designed tower at 13‑14 Appold Street, EC2, will feature a 392-bedroom Club Quarters hotel, 121,300 sq ft of offices and a restaurant.
Demolition of the existing building, Bavaria House, is expected to begin next month. Completion is scheduled for mid-2019.
