Matt Kelly starts new company

Matt-KellyMatt Kelly has left his role M&M Asset Management to set up a new company called Anglezark.

Landid managing director Trevor Silver has also joined as chairman.

The venture, which is backed by private equity, will focus on asset management.

Kelly said he wanted to create a company that pursued an active investment strategy and capitalised on opportunities in the market, concentrating on buying offices and retail assets.

He said: “We are open for business and ready to go. We have already bid on some stuff and are actively looking for more.”

The company’s name is taken from Anglezarke Reservoir in Lancashire where Kelly grew up.

Alignment is key for asset management
