Matthews & Sadler Estates has joined forces with US real estate investor and developer Foundation Capital Ventures to create a portfolio of investments in the science and technology sectors.
FCV’s expertise in delivering innovation space is expected to blend smoothly with Matthews & Sadler’s knowledge of the UK life sciences market and its relationship with both private and public stakeholders. Matthews & Sadler will lead all investments and developments in the UK.
Collectively, the partners have experience in institutional real estate across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and have overseen the investment, development and operations of more than 20m sq ft of life sciences facilities, with project values ranging between £10m and £1bn.
