Qatari investment fund Mayhoola for Investments has acquired French fashion brand Balmain.
The companies did not give financial details, but a person with knowledge of the matter said the price was close to €500m.
Advisors Bucephale Finance said the acquisition would enable the fashion house to accelerate its international expansion.
