Hotel group Millennium & Copthorne has announced a 15.7% or £16m increase in profit before tax to £118m in a trading update for the nine months 30 September 2017.
The group, which is currently the subject of a takeover attempt by its majority owner, reported revenue increased by 12.5% to £748m, or 4.5% on a constant currency basis.
Group revenue per available room, increased by 2.5% to £89.75, aided by strong growth in New York and Australasia.
Net assets at 30 September were £3.2bn, up from £3.1bn at the same time the previous year.
The group had net debt of £668m, down from £707m in December 2016.
