McAlpine offers ‘one-stop-shop’ relocation package

Alfred McAlpine has launched a “one-stop-shop” package of services for occupiers who want to outsource the relocation process

The new service, called 20/20, will allow companies to use one organisation to handle its requirement from finding a site to planning and construction through to facilities management.

Bob Tattrie, deputy MD at Alfred McAlpine Special Projects, said: “Were basically turning something we’ve already done for a couple of clients into a comprehensive package for everyone.”

Tattrie claims that an average project would save about 3-6 months, which represents a financial saving of around 10-15%.

McAlpine launched the service on the back of two projects – Initial City Links’ 29.65-acre (12ha) site in Dalston, north east London, and Pilkington AGM’s 250,000 sq ft (23,225 sq m) distribution centre at Redditch in Hereford and Worcester.
