McCarthy & Stone has unveiled one of its largest developments to date ahead of its planned £70m flotation on the London Stock Exchange.
The retirement home builder has bought a car park site on Station Parade in Virginia Water, Surrey, where it is planning a £28m scheme comprising 58 homes, communal gardens and residents’ facilities.
It bought the site from Runnymede borough council.
