Retirement homes specialist McCarthy & Stone is planning a 10-storey development in Gosport, Hampshire.
The developer will submit Piper Whitlock-designed proposals for 45 retirement flats before the end of the month. Located on Harbour Road and the seafront, it would form part of the Millennium Promenade Walk, which stretches from Gosport to Portsmouth.
Subject to planning from Gosport borough council, work on site would begin in June.
The project will aid McCarthy & Stone’s £2bn plan to complete 3,000 flats every year within four years.
