McCurley and Gibbon to reunite

Two of the City market’s most successful investment agents are to reunite.

Tony McCurley is to leave CB Richard Ellis to reunite with Tony Gibbon in the New Year.

The duo worked together at niche City firm BH2 for around 10 years before McCurley quit to join CBRE in 2004.

McCurley told CBRE managing director Martin Samworth of his decision on Friday (27 November).

It follows around four months of discussions between McCurley and CBRE management over his future with the firm.

At one point CBRE discussed bringing Gibbon into the business, but these talks failed to come to fruition.

It is expected that BH2 will cease to exist in its current form next Spring.
