Urban regeneration specialist MCD has been given detailed planning consent for a £23m mixed-use scheme in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.
The grade II listed Derwent House, a former foundry located off St Paul’s Square fronting Mary Ann Street, will be redeveloped into residential and commercial space.
The plans include 98 one and two bedroom flats and 10,000 sq ft of commercial space.
A new residential unit and a courtyard in the centre of the apartment block will also be added.
