Strong demand for London property with development potential helped McHugh & Co sell 75% of lots on offer and raise £10.8m at the firm’s 26 February sale.
Some 47 lots were offered and 35 sold, including ten prior, at the auction at Bafta, W1.
The highest value lot under the hammer was a carpark in Ferdinand Street, NW1, which sold for £1.6 on behalf of the London Borough of Camden, off a guide of £575,000.
Auctioneer James McHugh said he was “astounded” by the price achieved.
“Sites in Camden don’t come up every day of the week so they’re quite hot with investors.”
