McHugh & Co has held its first online auction, selling £20.5m-worth of property.
The firm notched up an impressive 96% success rate from the 10 June sale, with 101 of 106 lots finding buyers. Just four lots were withdrawn.
Highlights included a three-bedroom unmodernised semi-detached house (pictured) on Page Street in Mill Hill, NW7 (lot 2). It was sold on behalf of executors for £593,000 against a guide of £425,000.
In Belsize Park Gardens, Belsize Park, NW3 (lot 50), a three-bedroom unmodernised flat was sold on behalf of trustees.
It was guided at £1,200,000 and sold for £1,346,000.
The sale was easily on a par with McHugh’s in-room auctions: its previous sale at the Montcalm Hotel, W1, in February raised £23.6m with a 95% success rate; while in December it sold £16m with a 91% success rate.
Its next sale will be held online on 23 July.
