McHugh & Co raised £25m from its latest sale, selling 90% of lots offered.
Vendors included property trading company Mountview Estates, which sold a two-bedroom unmodernised terraced house on Elwin Street in Bethnal Green, E2 (lot 4), for well ahead of its £700,000 guide. The final sale price was £835,000.
Another highlight was a freehold ground rent investment and seven lock-up garages at Hogarth Court, North End, Hampstead, NW3 (lot 41), which produce £26,400 per annum. The investment was guided at £290,000 and sold for £391,000, a gross yield of 6.75%.
A fire-damaged terrace house in Stoke Newington, N16 (lot 5), fetched £528,000.
McHugh & Co achieved a total of £24.7m on the day, with one sale post-auction taking it to £25m from 124 lots sold. Eleven lots were withdrawn prior.
The 15 October sale was its fifth auction this year, with one remaining online auction due to take place on 1 December.
