David McLean Developments is pushing ahead with its £2m Trident Court office scheme at Ocean Park in Cardiff Bay after pre-selling part of the scheme to St John’s Ambulance.
The developer has won planning consent for the 1,765 sq m (19,000 sq ft) two phase office village and pre-sold a 762 sq m (8,200 sq ft) unit to The Order of St John for a National Training Centre.
According to McLean, the second 418 sq m (4,500 sq ft) unit is under offer and construction will start soon on a 585 sq m (6,300 sq ft) building with a quoting rent of £129 per sq m (£12 per sq ft) . The whole development should be completed in January 1998.
