Medical firm takes 40,000 sq ft at Aviva Investors’ Barwell park

Medical equipment and infection control solutions company Steris IMS has taken 41,000 sq ft at Aviva Investors’ Barwell Business Park in south-west London.

The company will occupy Units 1 to 4 at the business park and will use the site for the decontamination and sterilisation of NHS medical equipment. It will be the company’s largest facility.

Steris IMS will join existing tenants at the scheme, including Opcare and Stulz.

Colin Lawrence-Waterhouse, asset manager, real estate, Aviva Investors, said: “Barwell represents a differentiated offering in the London market, attracting occupiers that seek a business park environment rather than a traditional industrial estate.

“This agreement highlights the strong demand from tenants for high-quality facilities, with the park aligned to our strategy of investing in prime real estate assets in core locations.”

Altus Group acted on behalf of Aviva Investors.
