MedicX Health fund has purchased the Forth View care home in Fife, Scotland, for around £4m.
The Methil-based 60-bed care home, which sits on a 1.32-acre site, is let on a 30-year basis to Balhousie Care Group, which sold the freehold. It is the third property the fund has acquired from Balhousie.
Mike Adams, chief executive officer of MedicX, said: “Our continued collaboration with Balhousie clearly demonstrates the Health fund’s long-term objective of building substantial, ongoing relationships with quality operators, who provide best-in-class healthcare environments.”
The fund closed on a second fundraising in September, when a further £55m was secured from investors.
