ME+EM signs for new Notting Hill flagship

Luxury fashion brand ME+EM has agreed a 10-year lease for a new London flagship in Notting Hill.

The retailer will relocate to the former Maje store at Westbourne Grove from its existing premises at nearby Ledbury Road.

The store, at 194 Westbourne Grove, W11, measures more than 2,000 sq ft across ground and basement levels. The letting reflects Zone A of just over £350.

The landlord is Jersey-listed investor Heatherstone Properties, according to Radius Data Exchange.

Josh Braid, co-head of the central London retail team at Knight Frank, which advised the landlord, said the space was let to the retailer after a targeted marketing campaign.

Braid said: “Westbourne Grove is an established London village with a strong local customer base within the neighbourhood and this letting is a further sign that brands are investing in bricks and mortar to meet their customer base as the recovery continues to build.”

The label has been worn by celebrities and members of the royal family, including Christine Lampard and the Duchess of Cornwall.

Other luxury brands investing in the area include Max Mara, James Perse, Jigsaw and Wrap London.

Colliers advised the retailer on the deal.
