LISTEN: The property sector is a “dinosaur” when it comes to technology, said The Collective founder Reza Merchant as he welcomed proptech accelerator Pi Labs to his Bloomsbury HQ on 21 April.
The launch event introduced the cohort of five new start-ups set to go through the accelerater programme over the next three months. They will be the first to launch in the new space following a joint venture deal between The Collective and Pi Labs which saw the programme move out of Second Home in Shoreditch.
“This is an opportunity to embrace technology,” said Merchant. “It is a great opportunity to be at the forefront of proptech.
“We are incredibly central here. And connectivity is so important for these companies as they grow. This is one of the most unique work spaces in London.”
