Hotel operator Algonquin has put the four-star Mercure Bristol Brigstow up for sale, seeking offers in excess of £15m – a 7.25% yield.
The hotel’s owner has instructed JLL to market the 115-bed city centre property.
Hotel group AccorHotels, formerly known as Accor, has a franchise agreement on the hotel, which will continue under new ownership.
The Brigstow is one of three Mercure hotels in Bristol, and has a restaurant and four function rooms.
The sale forms part of Algonquin’s wider investment strategy as it looks to expand its UK presence with further single-asset and portfolio investments.
Bristol Brigstow is one of four hotels which Algonquin owns in the UK, along with the 209-bedroom Novotel Liverpool, the 170-bedroom Novotel Edinburgh Park, and the 91-bedroom Ibis in York.
