Mervyn Howard to leave Grosvenor

Grosvenor Fund Management’s managing director of corporate development, Mervyn Howard, is leaving the company.

Howard, who has worked at Grosvenor for 12 years, said his role was “no longer appropriate for the business’ needs”.

Howard was UK chief executive of the Duke of Westminster’s property investment company for four years, before moving to the newly-created role of managing director for corporate development in 2012.

James Raynor, who was promoted to chief executive of Grosvenor Fund Management from chief investment officer earlier this year, said: “Mervyn has played an important role within GFM since joining in 2001 and has been a valued colleague.

“He led the UK business for many years, has been a very active board and investment committee member and has led our significant advances in sustainability. We wish him well in his future endeavours.”
