The Metropolitan Police Specialist Training Centre has opened in Gravesend.
The £55m complex, which covers 99,569 sq ft (9,250 sq m), replaces facilities at Lippits Hill, south of Epping Forrest and Hounslow Heath, West London.
It includes the UK’s largest public order training facility with simulated road configurations, including crossroads, culs-de sac and house facades.
